From Simulation to Assessment: See SimTutor & OSCEs in Action
How can educators give learners more opportunities to practice clinical skills and assess their readiness without adding more pressure to faculty workloads? Join this 60-minute live demo to see the new OSCE capabilities in SimTutor. We'll show how learners work through live simulated patient interactions, taking histories, examining and communicating as they would in a real station, and the rich, personalised feedback they get after every attempt. We'll also take a quick look at clinical skills training, which lets learners put their skills to the test in our visual simulations. Explore how SimTutor can help educators create more opportunities for practice, identify learning gaps, and assess clinical readiness in a scalable digital environment.

What Happens After Feedback? Making the Final Weeks of the Semester Count
As the semester draws to a close, students have received feedback on assessments, assignments, and learning activities. But how much of that feedback actually translates into improved learning? In an era of increasingly abundant, often AI-generated feedback, the challenge is no longer simply providing information, but helping learners understand and act on it. In this webinar, Dr. Goran Stevanovski, MD, MA, SFHEA, explores feedback literacy and practical, evidence-informed strategies for making feedback more meaningful. Drawing on examples from digital learning and simulation, he examines how you can support learner agency, encourage reflection, and create purposeful opportunities for improvement, even in the final weeks of the semester.

More Data, Harder Choices: AI, Breast Cancer, and What It Means for the Future of Care, Medical Education, and Patients
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and companies are mining the records of millions of patients to flag cancers earlier, predict which treatments will work for which people, and personalize care. The people are still in the equation: the radiologist, the pathologist, the geneticist, the counselor, the surgeon, the oncologist, and the patient, all facing the same hard reality that more information does not always produce a clearer answer, and that population-level evidence and an individual's situation can pull in different directions. In this session, Atul Grover, MD, PhD, FACP, FCCP, examines what this means for clinicians, for learners, and for the policy, regulatory, and payment systems that decide what gets done and who pays for it. He will also raise what should worry educators most: our clinical data keeps getting better, while our data on how learners are actually progressing has barely moved. The session closes with a look at what better assessment data makes possible.

Moving Beyond the Hype: Making AI Work in the Flipped Nursing Classroom
Flipped classroom models and AI tools are increasingly pitched to nursing programs, leaving pre-licensure faculty to sort genuine instructional value from hype while protecting the clinical rigor that patient safety depends on. In this session, Bonnie Clipper, DNP and founder of Innovation Advantage, walks through how the flipped model works in practice for pre-licensure nursing, the pitfalls worth anticipating before you redesign a course, and the specific points where AI supports faculty and students without cutting corners on patient safety. Join us for the conversation!

Thinking Out Loud: Teaching Clinical Reasoning
Clinical reasoning is often expected of learners before the thinking behind it has been made visible. Cognitive apprenticeship offers a practical way to bridge this gap: educators model how clinicians think, coach learners through authentic problems, provide purposeful scaffolding, and gradually support greater independence. In this session, Dr. Goran Stevanovski, MD, MA, SFHEA, explores how these principles can be accounted for from the beginning of the academic year, and how virtual patient encounters create repeated opportunities for your learners to practise, articulate, and refine their clinical reasoning. Drawing on his work in health professions education and clinical reasoning, he will share practical strategies you can bring into your own teaching from day one.

Will AI Replace Nurses? The Deskilling Debate
In this session, Dr. Bonnie Clipper discusses how AI is reshaping clinical workflows faster than most anticipated, and nursing isn't immune. This session cuts through the hype to ask the real question: as AI takes on more cognitive and diagnostic work, are nurses gaining capability or quietly losing it? Covers where AI genuinely supports practice, where it risks clinical judgment, and how nurses can prepare to work alongside it.
